These terms and conditions apply to a Renter who orders online, in person, by email or over the telephone. These Terms and Conditions may be subject to change from time to time and available upon request via email or via our website.
Blue Sky China and Bunting agrees to rent crockery to the Renter for the period stated in the rental agreement. The rented goods shall at all times remain the property of Blue Sky China and Bunting. The Renter is responsible for the rented goods during the rental period that commences from the time the goods are collected by the Renter or delivered to the Renter by Blue Sky Vintage China. The hire period finishes when the goods are returned by the Renter or collected by Blue Sky China and Bunting. For the avoidance of doubt, goods returned by a 3rd party such as by post or courier are not counted as returned until Blue Sky China and Bunting have signed for them.

We cannot guarantee colours of particular items, however, if requested, we will try to compliment the chosen colour scheme of your event.
Hire Period:
Our hire period is for one day. Longer periods on request.
Payment terms are 30% on booking and 70% five weeks prior to your event. We also require a payment of 50% of the total hire cost to cover the unlikely event of damage to any items. This payment will be returned to you when the china is returned to us. See below for replacement values for any damaged items.
Minimum Charge:
Our minimum hire charge is £45.00 (or by discretion)
Delivery & collection:
Delivery and collection to and from your event is free within a 5 mile radius of Aylesford. We are happy to quote on deliveries and collections beyond 5 miles. If you would like to collect items from us we are happy to oblige by prior arrangement.
Replacement values:
Minimum of 5 x value of listed individual item rental (or part thereof; trio, cake stand etc).
Cup, Saucer & Tea plate (or part thereof) £7.50; Side or Cake Plate £4.00; Oval Serving Platter £15.00; Sandwich Platter £12.50; Cake Stand Single Tier (or part thereof): £20.00; Cake Stand Double Tier (or part thereof): £25.00; Cake Stand Triple Tier (or part thereof): £30.00; Tea Pot: £22.50; Coffee Pot: £22.50; Milk Jug: £6.25; Sugar Bowl: £6.25.
Please ask for replacement costs for other items not listed.
Cancellation of booking:
If you decide to cancel your booking we reserve the right to charge a £70.00 fee to cover the cost of administration. This is additional to the cancellation and return of deposit details below.
Cancellation and return of deposit from booking date: within Booking Date-9 months 75% (minus £70.00); within 9-6 months 50% (minus £70.00); within 6-1 months 25% (minus £70.00); within 1 month 0%.
We also reserve the right to refuse refund for any vintage china/décor you may choose to remove from your booking after your balance payment date.

Liability
Blue Sky China and Bunting’s total Liability to the Renter under and/or arising in relation to any agreement shall not exceed the amount of the Rental and charges for Services (if any) under that agreement.
Blue Sky China and Bunting shall have no Liability to the Renter if, without just cause, any monies due in respect of the rented goods have not been paid in full by the due date for payment.
Nothing in this contract shall exclude or limit the Liability of the Supplier for death or personal injury due to the Supplier’s negligence nor exclude or limit any other type of Liability which it is not permitted to exclude or limit as a matter of law.
Any defective rented goods must be returned to the Supplier for inspection if requested by the Supplier before the Supplier will have any Liability for defective Hire Goods.
Governing law
The Agreement is governed by the laws of England. Any dispute may be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If any provision of this Agreement is or becomes invalid or unenforceable the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
If bookings have to be moved to a new date at the same venue due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Blue Sky China and Bunting will aim to move the booking to the new date requested and decorate on that date at no extra charge to the customer.
If bookings have to be moved to a new date and a new venue due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Blue Sky China and Bunting will aim to move the booking to the new date requested and to the new venue stated and will revise the hire fee. The total hire fee will only increase if the distance of the new venue is further away from Aylesford, Kent than the original venue. Blue Sky China and Bunting will then advise the customer of any increase to the hire fee and ask that this be paid at least five weeks prior to the new booking date or immediately if the event date is less than five weeks away.
In the event that a booking is moved to a new date due to Coronavirus, and Blue Sky China and Bunting are unable to honour that new date, the deposit and balance paid will be refunded in full to the customer minus an administration fee of £70.00.
If bookings are cancelled due to Coronavirus, Blue Sky China and Bunting will refund the full deposit and balance payment to the customer minus a £70.00 administration fee.
If less than seven days notice is given by the customer to Blue Sky China and Bunting regarding necessary changes to booking dates due to the Coronavirus Pandemic or cancellation of the event due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Blue Sky China and Bunting will reserve the right to withhold the deposit paid but will refund the balance paid to the customer minus a £70.00 administration fee.
